A notebook belonging to Charles W. Landis (1877–1943), an Oakland-based civil engineer with Landis Bros. It is unclear with which brother Charles W. was in business, as both of his brothers are listed as ranchers. The notebook contains plans for the construction of a park in Orangevale in 1909. Later entries include notes about ranches and amounts of cattle on them, and what appear to be inventories or cash books.
